Siva has almost two decades of leadership experience across the entire software engineering life cycle starting from design, architecture development, support infrastructure, program management, process digitization and pre-sales. More importantly, he has spent more than a decade in Healthcare technology space working for GE with intimate knowledge of clinical engineering, medical device product development, post-market and regulatory compliance.
Very recently, Siva led technology operations for GE Healthcare’s $350M clinical engineering services business. He was instrumental in improving its Asset Management practices by driving partnership with Nuvolo, an early stage startup, helping it improve its product, and influencing GE Venture to make Series A equity investment. He led pre-sales support to allow $300M of backlog development.
As a program manager, Siva led mobile and digital strategy execution for service and compliance support to the onsite clinical engineers delivering 36% productivity in Time-to-Repair and 1pt of operating margin improvement. He also digitized post-market regulatory reporting workflow process in partnership with 12 global regulatory bodies; the response rate improved from 15 days to 24 hours!
As a lead technologist in GE Healthcare, Siva led teams to streamline product hierarchies for all GE Healthcare products supporting PLM and documentation management; he also built the global support infrastructure. The results were noted in driving product cost-out, product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Siva spent more than half a decade in PLM software engineering and architecture development roles in support of various verticals such as aerospace, automotive and consumer products with prestigious clients like Honeywell.
Siva has an Engineering degree in Computer science from India. Siva has a passion for giving back to the community. He is a AAMI HTM Member since 2016. He has also led many programs like Stress management, Yoga, health awareness & safety to support well-being of local communities.
